Chemical Peel : VI Peel
Vitality Institute’s VI Peel chemical peel contains a blend of ingredients and claims for dramatic results for virtually all skin types, with no pain, no advance skin preparation and rapid recovery. The VI Peel will stimulate collagen and elastin, firming the skin over time. The VI Peel is the most aggressive non-physician administered skin peel available.
With this chemical peel, physicians will treat the following skin conditions:
- Acne
- Age Spots
- Freckles
- Melasma
Although the VI Peel is recommended to be done every three months, it can be done as frequently as every 30 days.
After the VI Peel Treatments :
Your skin will immediately feel tighter and continue so for about a week. As the outer skin sheds or peels, tightness will subside, and new, healthier skin will appear. This process will usually take 3-6 days. Do not pick or pull at the skin to avoid causing unwanted pigmentation and damage. Your new skin will feel firmer, look smoother and less pigmented. Don’t forget to avoid the sun unless adequate sunscreen is used. Avoid using makeup until your peeling has finished.
